Founder, Licensed Clinical Psychologist & Neuropsychologist

Dr. Krystel Salandanan is a lifespan-trained clinical neuropsychologist with experience evaluating individuals across a wide range of developmental, medical, neurological, psychiatric, and rehabilitative settings. Her work has included neurodevelopmental evaluations for children as young as five, cognitive and psychological assessment for adolescents and adults, and cognitive rehabilitation services for older adults well into late life, including individuals in their nineties. This breadth of training allows her to understand how cognition, behavior, and emotional functioning evolve across different stages of life and within varying medical and environmental contexts.

Dr. Salandanan began her career in behavioral health psychology, working with individuals coping with medical trauma, chronic illness, and complex health conditions before transitioning into subacute rehabilitation during her predoctoral internship. She later completed a postdoctoral fellowship in cognitive rehabilitation with geriatric populations and went on to serve as a postdoctoral fellow, staff neuropsychologist, and Director of Neuropsychology across multiple clinical settings.

Over the course of her career, Dr. Salandanan has trained and worked in Level 1 trauma centers, psychiatric and medical hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and ambulatory care settings. Her clinical experience includes neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and autism spectrum conditions, as well as acquired and complex presentations including traumatic brain injury, neurological illness, chronic pain, psychiatric conditions, and cognitive changes related to medical disease and aging. She also conducts pre-surgical psychological evaluations and clearance assessments for procedures such as bariatric surgery and spinal cord stimulator implantation.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Salandanan has experience in medicolegal and occupational evaluations involving injured workers and disability-related concerns. Her work has included record review, independent evaluations, multidisciplinary collaboration, and participation in depositions, testimony, and legal review.

Dr. Salandanan holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Washington and earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from The Wright Institute. She is licensed in Washington, New York, New Jersey, Texas, Connecticut, and Oregon.
